Twin Cedar's is a small assisted living facility offering 24 hour personalized care and supervision with all the comforts of home! Our home is located on 16+ acres in a tranquil country setting and is furnished with cozy antiques and enriched artwork. An ideal atmosphere for relaxation and peace of mind, Twin Cedar’s is committed to the health, comfort and safety of our residents. Our goal is to provide quality care for those staying long term, short term or for those receiving adult day care services.
Our 12,000 sq. ft. building maintains a ranch floor plan and eliminates the need for our seniors to climb stairs. We offer fully furnished private, deluxe private and companion suites, each with its own private bathroom. The spacious living and dining areas overlook endless blueberry groves and the beauty of the Pocono countryside. Our elegant dining room serves three delicious meals daily plus snacks and beverages are available throughout the day. Our numerous outdoor porches and decks connect paved garden paths, meandering past fountains, picnic tables and benches. Our residents enjoy daily sightings of wildlife including bear, deer, and wild turkeys viewed from their bedroom windows! Residents can also choose to relax in our cozy library or use the webcam or Skype to communicate with loved ones in our computer room.
Our caring staff provides assistance with the activities of daily living and medication administration 24-hours a day. A professional nurse is available or on-call 24/7 and our staff performs hourly safety checks on residents. We also provide wellness visits from a nurse, home visits by a geriatric physician and we can arrange additional healthcare services and diagnostic testing.
Our Assisted Living amenities include valet laundry, daily towel service, weekly linen service, housekeeping services, exercise/fitness center, beauty salon, religious services, ample parking, complimentary in-house telephone and message service and an abundance of recreational, social, physical, creative, educational and spiritual activities. Besides all the above, the owner lives on site at Twin Cedars.
Respite Care and Adult Day Care are available. We offer short term stays of one week or longer. This is also a great way to determine if Twin Cedar’s is the right choice for your loved one. Our Adult Day is a structured day program for local seniors offers recreational activities, delicious meals and nursing care in the safe environment of our home.
