Nursing homes are licensed and regulated by the State of North Dakota Department of Public Health and can be individually certified by the State for Medicare and Medicaid. • Sub-Acute - Comprehensive inpatient care designed for someone who has had
an acute illness, injury, or exacerbation of a disease process.
