Pine Shadow is a new facility in outstanding condition, located in a very quiet neighborhood of the prestigious Palo Alto Area. It is 10 minutes to Stanford University & Stanford Hospital. Specialized in & licensed by State to accommodate dementia residents, Pine Shadow has secured entrance, security cameras on site, and customized activity program for memory revitalization.
Basic Service:
• 24 hour continuous care and supervision, with awaked staff on-site at night.
• Monitoring and appropriate reporting to Physicians and Family / Responsible person on physical, mental, emotional, and social functioning changes.
• Shared bedroom, which includes comfortable furniture, and safety cushions if needed. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture to create a familiar environment to them.
• Biweekly linen change, or as often as needed.
• Weekly housecleaning of bedroom, or as often as needed.
• Weekly on-site laundry service, or as often as needed.
• Three nutritious meals and snacks are provided everyday, or special diet prepared according to Physician’s order.
• Daily assistance with taking prescribed, non-prescribed or PRN (as-needed)
medication in accordance with Physician’s instructions unless prohibited by law.
• Assistance with activities of daily living (ADL): dressing, eating, toileting, bathing, grooming, mobility task, incontinent care.
• Planned activities included but not limited to: group movie, sing-along, Birthday party, holiday celebration, etc.
• Customized care plan uniquely designed for mental & cognitive improvement and strengthening, including but not limited to: card games, video games, pattern recognition, or mental exercises ordered by Physicians.
Additional service:
• Free basic haircut included
• Free basic manicure / pedicure included
• Free medical / dental appointment visit twice per month, with custodian accompanied during the whole visit. All other visits available for additional charge
• Free wheelchair provided by the facility.
• Bedside care / tray service available for additional charge
