Located in Northern Idaho, Courtyard at Coeur d’Alene’s unique cottage-style concept ensures a home-like ambiance, where residents are treated like family. Here, mom & dad have the freedom to join any activities and make use of any amenities, meet new friends, and age in place. The cottages have 15 apartments each and feature a secure courtyard, which is further enhanced by secure walking paths and a tranquil koi fishpond. We take great pride and pleasure in exceeding the expectations of our residents with our outstanding care, which includes award-winning Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Respite Care programs.
We understand that everybody is unique, and we fully embrace that–we take our time to get to know each resident, through a detailed interview and a respectful health assessment. We also work closely with their family members to ensure their loved one enjoys the highest level of care. Our ultimate goal is to offer seniors all the assistance, encouragement, and support they need without ridding them of their privacy, dignity, or freedom of choice. Services include scheduled transportation, concierge, dog walking and pet care, weekly laundry and linen, errands, housekeeping, and more. We have nurses on call 24/7 as well as visiting occupational, physical, and speech therapists. Seniors struggling with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia also benefit from our music & memory program.
At our senior community, we offer a variety of activities that change based on resident interest. They are not only great opportunities for residents to meet new friends, but they also stimulate the brain, thus slowing down the process of memory loss. These include scrapbooking, oil and acrylic painting, sports, board games, card games, outings, yoga, brain games, and more. Besides this, we also offer freshly prepared meals every day; menu planning is discussed monthly at Resident Meetings and approved by a Registered Dietician.
