Brookdale Potomac, formerly Emeritus at Potomac, is a Potomac, MD Assisted Living and Alzheimer’s Care community for seniors. We are conveniently located at the intersection of Tuckerman Lane and Seven Locks Road just five minutes from I-270 and I-495. We are located in a vibrant area with easy access to Washington, DC and all that this area has to offer. Our residents enjoy several excursions each week that include shopping trips, outings to nearby parks, including Great Falls Park and Dumberton Oaks Parks and visits to the Hillwood Museum, the Textile Museum, The National Gallery, Smithsonian, the Air and Space Museum and the Women’s Art Museum. We also attend concerts at Strathsmore Concert Hall. We enjoy lunch outings at one of many restaurants close by. Transportation is provided in our own air conditioned mini-bus.
A Wonderful Selection
Our quiet three-story retirement community is located in a park-like setting and offers a total of 104 senior apartments with seven different floor plans ranging from economical suites to one- bedroom deluxe suites with a den and two-bedroom units. We also offer friendship suites where two residents, who either don’t want to live alone or wish to save on rent, can share accommodations. All senior apartments provide a kitchenette with refrigerator and freezer, a spacious private wheelchair-accessible bathroom and all of the safety amenities you would expect including rails, pull cords and night lights. Each senior apartment is beautifully laid out and spacious offering large windows and wall-to-wall carpeting. Residents are welcome to bring in their own furniture or we can provide it for them. The apartments can also be painted a special color and residents can decorate any way they wish.
