A non-profit organization, Bright Side Manor is a Comprehensive Personal Care Home (CPCH) established in 1990. We provide affordable housing and support services to older adults of all income levels in our clean, charming, converted Victorian home.
Our residents receive the assistance they need while remaining as independent as possible, and our staff are trained to deliver personal assistance and supportive services that are individualized to each resident.
The word “home” means different things to different people, and we understand that. Each resident’s individuality is honored, and residents are encouraged to participate in whatever activities are most meaningful to them.
We take time to get to know residents through an initial assessment, where we learn about each person's health and wellness needs, lifestyle habits, hobbies, and socialization patterns. A personalized plan of care is developed that will promote each resident’s independence, individuality, dignity, privacy, and choice. To ensure that we continue to meet our residents’ changing needs, each resident's plan of care is assessed at regular intervals.
Finding a long-term care community can be a challenging process. For many older adults, Bright Side Manor will be the best, most appropriate, and most affordable choice. At Bright Side Manor, we believe that every older adult who needs affordable assisted living should be able to access it, regardless of income.
We stand behind that belief by offering rates that are manageable without compromising the high quality of care that we provide. To ensure that assisted living at Bright Side Manor remains affordable, we welcome residents through the MLTSS (Managed Long Term Services and Supports Program (formerly the Assisted Living Medicaid Waiver Program), as well as residents who are able to pay privately.
