White Orchid Senior Adult Care has been a haven for the elderly for over 12 years. A white orchid is one of the most exquisite yet fragile of all flowers, just like the residents in our care. Just like our children, each resident has a unique history and individual needs. We honor and accommodate each in the way that brings them the most contentment.
As a state-certified facility, we strictly follow all laws and guidelines concerning elder care, and welcome family members stopping by to visit with their loved ones. Gardens in front of and behind our home are easily accessible to our residents and bring them peace. Natural light, home-cooked meals, loving pets, and kind treatment make White Orchid feel like home.
Each room is fully furnished, including a television, bed, dresser, and chair. The beds are very comfortable and suitable for those with various health needs. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. We provide assistance with all activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, and whatever else is needed. Most of all we offer attention here at this outstanding life care center.
Our home facility is designed for the capable senior as well as those in wheelchairs. We welcome dementia residents, because even with memory problems, each one is special and delightful in their own way. We are comfortable with answering the same question over and over, the occurrence which is so difficult for people caring for their own parents.
We offer respite care which is a temporary break for caregivers and allows residents to have a short-term stay to experience their future home. We provide guidance after a respite so that families are better equipped to take care of their parent at home if they’re not ready for White Orchid. Our priority is the happiness of the people we meet.
