Cook Adult Home is a 13 bed residential assisted living home for the elderly.

Cook Adult Home is a 13 bed residential assisted living home for the elderly. We are located near Clifton Park, NY overlooking the City Park in the City of Mechanicville on the banks of the Hudson River. We provide complete personal care, all food services, laundry, cleaning, medication management, and case management.

Our Care
We specializing in personal care and are proud of our stable, caring, warm, and friendly staff. The building is an old Victorian style home  providing the resident a strong sense of “belonging here,” and of “being at home” with his/her own personal care aides.  

Our Typical Resident
Our typical resident is an individual or husband and wife, ambulatory and continent, with or without some assistance, and possibly with some dementia. Our ratio of staff to residents is among the best in the state as we are state certified for only 13 beds but rarely accept more then 10. 

Our philosophy is to treat each of the residents like a grandparent and as if this might be their last day in this life. The residents enjoy excellent home cooking in a warm, comfortable, casual setting.
