At Pacifica Senior Living Heritage Hills in Hendersonville, NC, our Legacies™ Memory Care program is specifically designed for residents with memory impairments such as Alzheimer’s or related dementia. Our Special Care unit is devoted to Memory Care and dementia. We provide person-centered care, offering full assistance with daily activities and a variety of life enrichment programs. The goal is to provide residents with the care and support they need. These planned activities are both fun and beneficial, as they engage the cognitive functions, which are essential in memory loss.

First, we take our time to get to know each resident, learn about their stories, and discuss them with the families. We also conduct a careful health assessment, which helps determine the level of care they need. Next, our Resident Care Director designs a complete program that meets the care needs of our residents. Our dedicated, compassionate staff is ready to help at a moment’s notice, providing an all-inclusive list of services, such as medication management, escorting to meals, dietary monitoring, assistance with bathing and grooming, and more. Residents also enjoy restaurant-style dining every day, consisting of 3 nutritious meals with snacks in-between.
